Beauty From The Inside
Kylie stood up for Claire, she spoke to everyone about beauty from the inside through her speech on the Speech Contest their school had held. She spoke to prove that physical appearance didn’t matter.Through her speech, Alexa realized her attitude was so bad.She apologized and tried to be a better person.
Once upon a time, in Eagle Senior High School, there was a girl named Alexa. She was beautiful, famous, she looked like a model. But sadly, she had a very bad attitude. Her physical appearance was very pretty, but her attitude wasn’t. She liked to bully everyone, mostly Claire. Claire was a smart girl, independent girl, but unfortunately she was ugly and short. She insulted Claire a lot.
Sadly, the class' members followed Alexa's action, together they bullied Claire. But there was a girl, who took the neutral side. Her name was Kylie. She felt sorry for what Claire's been through. She felt sorry, but still couldn't do anything.
One day, at the break time, Alexa came to Claire's seat. She kicked the table while she was mocking Claire. Claire was just silent, couldn't say anything, she was speechless. She walked to the toilet. Kylie followed Claire, because of the accident she had seen. She heard someone's sob while she was entering the toilet.

It was Claire's sob. She waited until Claire came out. Claire was shocked because she saw Kylie. "What were you doing, Claire?" asked Kylie. Claire was speechless, she looked down. Kylie rubbed Claire's shoulder while she was soothing Claire. She tried to cheer Claire up. She told Claire to ignore Alexa. Claire felt better after Kylie had cheered her up. And then, they came back to the class.
Days passed as usual. Alexa was still treating Claire as usual. Kylie was still trying to cheer Claire up too. Until one day, Eagle Senior High School held a Speech Contest. The speech must contain motivational words, that could burn the spirit. Kylie was very interested to join the contest until she became her class' representative. She had prepared her speech long before the Contest even started. She trained everyday, she was hoping that the audiences could get the messages on her speech.
Finally,the Speech Contest started. The school's hall was very crowded. Kylie got number 3. She was ready while she was waiting for her turn. The first speech had done, and the second speech too. It was Kylie's turn. She went up to the stage, she was facing all the audiences. And then Kylie started to speech.
"Good morning everybody. First of all, lets pray and thanks unto our God who has been giving us some mercies and blessings so we can attend and gather in this place in good condition and happy situation. Brother and sister, I would like to deliver my speech today. My topic today is about Bully. The topic is happening frequently right now. And without the teachers' knowledge, there's a lot of students that bullied each other.
The students bullied each other about a lot of things, especially physical appearance. The question is why? Their minds aren't open-minded, they limit everything based on physical appearance. They don't understand, that the only thing that matters the most are attitude, not just physical appearance.
What's the purpose of bullying? What's the advantage? Just to prove that we are better than them? It's useless if we are pretty, look like a model but our attitude is bad. Beauty isn't based on your physical appearance, but it is based on your attitude. If we are kind to other people, behave nicely to them, then they will like us and be kind to us too.
Don't be a mean person, who likes to bully other people, and provoke other people to do bad things. No, don't do that because we're all beautiful. But beauty is nothing without brains, so we should learn to appreciate what we have, and learn to respect other people. Remember that everyone has beauty, but not everyone can see it.
Stop bully. Together let's change to be a better person, for mutual peace. Not much to say today, just a few words on top that I can offer you today, thank you very much for your attention and forgive me for my mistakes. Once again, thank you.
The sound of a loud applauses resonated in the hall. Everyone was amazed by Kylie's speech. They felt that what Kylie had said was so right. Alexa realized that she had done something very mean and awful to Claire. Every student who has ever bullied Claire, felt so bad. Alexa and her friend gathered near Claire after the Contest had finished.
They apologized to Claire. They realized that they were so mean to Claire. They judged a person by they looks. They didn't realize that the inner beauty was more important then the physical appearance. Finally, they all learnt to be a better person, who doesn't rate a person by they physical appearance, because all things doesn't depend on beauty. (*)

• Alexa : A pretty girl who was so mean to ugly person. She felt that she was the most beautiful girl in her school. She was so arrogant.
• Alexa’s friends : The class’ students who took Alexa’s side. They bullied other students together. The bad students gang who tried to rule the school.
• Claire : A smart and independent girl. She was short and fat. She was kind and so warm to another people. She wasn’t vengeful.
• Kylie : An ordinary girl who cheered up Claire. She was a very good friend of Claire. She helped Claire and always stand by Claire’s side.
